energysaverplus tariff Utilita

After a fourteen month break, Utilita re-launched into the UK domestic energy market with three three tariffs, energysaver, energysaverplus and planetsaver in February 2007.

The energysaverplus tariff saves energy at no additional cost to the customer. Customers also receive a high level of planetpoints, a Free Home Energy Survey and energy saving advice.

As when Utilita entered the market initially back in 2004 with the tariffs get80, get130, get180 and get280 the concept of reference prices is being applied again.

As a guide Utilita calculate their Energy Saving Tariffs from a Reference Price.  The Reference Prices being used is as follows:

The Utilita energysaverplus tariff prices are set level with these Reference Prices to assist with Utilita’s own rating and data quality.  Discounts are then applied to achieve specific end-pricing results. These discounts may change from time to time.

Customers electing for the energysaverplus tariff will also be entitled to 2 planetpoints per £1 spent on energy as billed which can then be redeemed against various energy saving devices, from lightbulbs at 50 planetpoints to loft insulation at 1800 planetpoints.
