SOL 16 from npower

SOL16 is an online domestic energy tariff from npower. SOL16 is also known as Sign Online 16.

SOL16 was removed from sale to new customers on the 19th October 2009.

SOL16 was launched on the 20th July 2009 and is available as a full online account only. SOL16 replaced SOL15

With SOL16 customers are provided with full online account management. Customers must have an email address to sign up to transfer energy supplier to SOL16.

SOL16 was launched with some aggressive pricing structures allowing npower to compete at the very sharp end of the energy market. On the day of launch of SOL16 npower became the cheapest dual fuel energy supplier in three of the fourteen distribution areas when you look at a standard profile (3,300kWhs of electricity and 20,500 kWhs of gas) payable by monthly direct debit.
