I ran a spreadsheet to check the accuracy of the savings. I didn't get the same level but enough to re-assure me that there was a decent business case to make the switch.

I've never used a third party such as yourselves to switch energy supplier before - I've always done it by talking directly to the new supplier. I was attracted by your cashback offer. I found the process very quick and simple through your website, which I was pleased about. However, some very important information was lacking or unclear. Firstly, after I entered my details and got to your Dual Fuel Comparison page, your "Savings" column for Scottish Power Online Energy Saver 10 said "plus £30 cashback plus £34 cashback". What does that mean? I think you mean £34 on top of another £30, so presumably £64 total. But nowhere in the following pages as I went through the switching process, or in my confirmation email have you confirmed the amount of my cashback. It seems to me that it should be simple for you to make that absolutely clear in the confirmation email. The other important information that was missing concerns payments. I will need to clear any outstanding balance with my old supplier and agree direct debit amounts with my new supplier. I appreciate you are not involved in these payments, but it would have been very helpful if the information you provided on the switching process explained how and when this was likely to happen.
