The company started out as Tower Utility and dealt with the 'Big Six' energy suppliers. Based on the experience gained from this and the feedback and complaints that they received from customers, they decided to become an energy supplier. National Gas started the journey with a promise to be transparent and make the things simpler for the customer. They are working to make gas supply account management as simple and inexpensive as possible.
National Gas split the annual cost of the household in twelve equal monthly instalments and reconcile based on actual meter reading at the end of each year for any customers who choose 1, 2 or 3 year tariff. This plan helps National Gas customers to avoid any unplanned bills during winter time.
