Hebrides Energy is a community interest company based in the Outer Hebrides and working in partnership with licenced UK Energy Supplier, GB Energy, to give electricity consumers in the islands access to competitively priced electricity.
Partners in Hebrides Energy include: Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Hebridean Housing Partnership, Tighean Innse Gall, The Stornoway Trust and Community Energy Scotland. As a Community Interest Company, Hebrides Energy are not-for-profit. Any profits that Hebrides Energy generate will be reinvested into reducing fuel poverty in the Outer Hebrides.

Hebrides Energy's approach to providing energy is surprisingly simple; they don't need to visit customers' homes and the process of switching can be done either over the phone or online. By keeping overheads to a minimum and using efficient online processes, tariffs are kept low.
