E.ON Energy, fourth of the big six to announce double digit price increases.

Energylinx have been advised today that E.ON Energy is set to increase its gas and electricity prices for domestic energy customers from the 13th September 2011. Energylinx has calculated these increases for the average domestic customer consuming 3,300 kWhs of electricity and 16,500 kWhs of gas, on a standard tariff paying by monthly direct debit to be, on average across the UK, 18.1% on gas and 11.4% on electricity.

SSE increase energy prices from 14th September 2011

Energylinx have been advised this am that SSE (Scottish and Southern Energy plc) are increasing their domestic energy prices by 11% on average for electricity and 18% on average for gas with effect from the 14th September 2011.

British Gas has today begun notifying its customers it will raise domestic tariffs for gas by an average 18%, and for electricity by an average 16%, on 18 August 2011.
