Eco20:20 from EDF Energy
Eco20:20 from EDF Energy is an innovative gas and electricity tariff where the tariff is priced with three separate unit rates, Band A, Band B and Eco:20 units. The Eco20:20 unit rates are available to customers in the evenings and weekends.
Customers opting for Eco20:20 will have a new meter installed, at no cost, but will be expected to remain on the tariff for at least 12 months of pay an early termination fee.
The Eco20:20 tariff off-peak rate will apply for a total of 10 hours between 9pm and 7am Monday to Friday and all weekend from 9pm Friday until 7am Monday, (all times are GMT). As Eco20:20 tariff is set to GMT times, this means when the clocks change to British Summer Time your off-peak times will be 10pm until 8am weekdays.
Eco20:20 was launched as a gas and electricity tariff on the 8th February 2009.
On the 2nd October 2009 the monthly direct debit discount was amended to 6%.
Eco20:20 is available as a dual fuel tariff for those customers with gas and electricity and also as an electricity only tariff.
Customers can pay their gas and electricity bills for Eco20:20 by Monthly Direct Debit.
Eco20:20 is available as a standard offline tariff where energy bills are posted to the customer.
