Capped Price Energy September 2010 from Scottish Power

Capped Price Energy September 2010 has been launched by ScottishPower as a replacement to Fixed Price Energy 2009 which comes to an end on the 31st August 2009.

This new tariff is only available to customers who were previously on Fixed Price Energy 2009 is a capped price tariff where prices are capped until September 2010.

Prices for Capped Price Energy September 2010 are the same as current ScottishPower standard rates, so customers do not need to pay any premium.

As to whether this is a good deal for you we would recommend that you carry out a comparison and see if this represents value for money or not. When comparing do make sure that you note your current tariff as Fixed Price Energy 2009 and do not be surprised when you see you cannot save anything. The key is to then compare the ScottishPower standard tariff to see whether or not this works for you.
